Speaker Bio

Dr. Manil Maskey is a Senior Research Scientist and Project Manager at NASA with over 24+ years of experience spanning academia, industry, and government.  He leads the NASA Science Mission Directorate’s AI Team and serves as the deputy manager for NASA IMPACT, focusing on innovative data systems, machine learning, and visualization for complex science problems. Additionally, Dr. Maskey is an affiliate faculty member at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Senior member of IEEE, and the chair of the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Earth Science Informatics Technical Committee.
