Speaker Bio

Dr. Jiaqi Yang is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She received her Ph.D. from Wuhan University in 2024. Her research centers on AI for Earth Observation, with a focus on satellite image processing and analysis. She serves as co-lead of the IEEE GRSS Image Analysis and Data Fusion Technical Committee (IADF TC) Working Group on Machine/Deep Learning for Image Analysis (WG-MIA).
